Decelerators and buffers for industrial applications

Decelerators
in Miniature
The MC series of self-compensating decelerators, with thread sizes ranging from M5 to M12, are ideal for applications on slides and pick-and-place systems. Compact and equipped with a mechanical stop, they ensure high cycle rates, a wide range of energy levels and damping curves, as well as numerous mounting accessories.

Miniature decelerators
MC150–MC600 Series
The range of self-compensating decelerators with thread sizes from M14 to M25 is available with a body made of WEARTEC or 316 stainless steel. The patented rolling diaphragm sealing technology ensures long service life and effective deceleration curves even at low impact speeds, with a wide range of mounting accessories available.

Miniature decelerators
SC190-SC925 SERIES
A wide range of self-compensating decelerators with threads ranging from M14 to M25 and standard seals on the bushing. Ideal for applications requiring mechanical stopping and more linear deceleration curves. The product line is complemented by a wide range of mounting accessories.

Miniature decelerators
SC25-SC650 Series: High-Capacity Per Cycle
Self-compensating shock absorbers with threads ranging from M10 to M25, designed for high energy absorption capacity per cycle. The monoblock tube-piston technology, combined with the diaphragm accumulator, allows for the management of high energy levels within a particularly compact footprint.

Miniature decelerators
MA Series
Adjustable dampers with threads ranging from M10 to M25 and stroke lengths from 10 to 40 mm. Equipped with a mechanical stop and a sound-dampening button, they ensure effective energy absorption in applications where operating parameters are not precisely defined.

Decelerators
MAGNUM series, thread sizes M33 to M64
ACE self-compensating and adjustable decelerators, with strokes ranging from 25 to 150 mm, are equipped with a mechanical stop and a fully threaded body for easy installation. The diaphragm accumulator and oversized piston ensure high capacity per cycle and high cycle life. Special versions in 316 stainless steel are also available for extreme temperatures, pressurized chambers, or connection to an external reservoir, upon customer request.

Decelerators
Heavy-Duty Series
The heavy-duty series, self-compensating and adjustable decelerators with high cycle capacity offer strokes of up to 16 inches. They deliver high hourly output, even when equipped with an external reservoir, ensuring high cycle rates in demanding environments such as steel mills and foundries. Special versions are available to meet customer specifications.

Shock-absorbing mats
SLAB
SLAB shock-absorbing mats provide excellent shock absorption over a large working surface. Available in three densities and standard thicknesses of 12 and 25 mm, they are ideal when compact dimensions and low costs are required, and precise mechanical stopping or total energy absorption is not necessary.

Elastomer bumpers
TUBUS
TUBUS bumpers are made of a special copolyester elastomer with high shock-absorbing performance. Available in various shapes depending on the required damping profile, they are easy to install using mounting screws. The material’s high elasticity allows for millions of cycles, offering a cost-effective solution when total energy absorption is not required.
APPLICATION OF ACE CONTROLS PRODUCTS
ACE Controls’ products, particularly hydraulic decelerators and buffers, play a fundamental role in industrial automation, where motion control and energy absorption are critical to the safety and reliability of systems. Decelerators enable controlled stops even with heavy loads and high speeds, reducing mechanical stress, wear, and noise. Buffers, including elastomeric ones, round out the product line by offering effective solutions for shock absorption and structural protection, contributing to the operational continuity of automated machinery.
In Italy, these products are distributed by RTI S.r.l., which provides specialized technical expertise to assist customers in selecting and properly sizing ACE Controls solutions. Thanks to its experience in the industrial automation sector, RTI assists companies in integrating decelerators and buffers into new or existing systems, ensuring optimal performance, greater safety for operators, and a significant reduction in maintenance costs.
