The CA2–CA4 Series Decelerators from ACE Controls are the ideal solution for applications where ruggedness and energy absorption capacity are essential requirements. Weighing between 12.8 kg and 146 kg, these models cover the entire range of ACE self-compensating decelerators and are custom-designed using the ACE calculation program, which allows for the precise definition of the most suitable configuration, reducing the risk of sizing errors or incorrect settings.

The CA series can absorb up to 126,500 Nm of energy and is suitable for handling effective masses ranging from 700 kg to 326,000 kg. Their robust construction, combined with extremely high energy absorption levels and a wide range of damping curves, makes these decelerators strategic components for critical applications. Their use is particularly well-suited for heavy mechanical engineering, such as foundries and steel mills, for lifting bridges and steel structures, and for damping complex systems, such as floodgates and large industrial plants.

Series A1½ to A3 – FEATURES

For decelerating heavy loads and smooth speed control
Adjustable Torque: 2,350 Nm/cycle to 44,000 Nm/cycle Stroke: 50 mm to 305 mm

The A Series decelerators, ranging from A1½ to A3, are distinguished by their robustness and wide range of adjustment options. With approximate weights ranging from 7.55 kg to 48 kg, these are extremely durable hydraulic decelerators, supplied ready for installation and designed for high-stress applications. They offer high energy absorption capacity and a wide range of damping curves, ensuring reliable performance even under severe operating conditions.

Adjustment via the rear recessed hex socket allows for precise adaptation to the parameters required by the application. The models in the A series cover a wide range of effective masses, from 0.3 kg up to 204,000 kg, with energy absorption capacities of up to 44,000 Nm. Thanks to this flexibility, they are often the first choice for heavy-duty applications and heavy mechanical engineering, especially when operating conditions are not precisely defined.
