ACE Controls’ SC190–SC925 Series miniature decelerators are designed to ensure exceptionally smooth and controlled deceleration. The “SC” suffix stands for “Soft Contact” technology, which is designed for applications requiring gentle contact. The one-piece body is engineered to provide a linear or progressive deceleration curve, ensuring extremely uniform energy absorption.
The long strokes typical of this series enable smooth damping, with low reaction forces and high protection for mechanical components. The SC190–SC925 decelerators are maintenance-free, quick to install, and equipped with an integrated mechanical stop. The use of a side-load adapter allows for impact angles of up to 25°, while the wide range of effective masses covers applications from approximately 1 kg up to over 200 kg. These features make the series particularly suitable for mechanical engineering, especially in the fields of material handling and industrial automation.
