ACE Controls’ GZ-15–GZ-40 Series tension springs are the ideal solution when installation space does not allow for the use of compression gas springs. Unlike standard push springs, these versions operate in the opposite manner: when unloaded, the gas pressure inside the cylinder causes the piston rod to retract, ensuring controlled and effective operation even in confined spaces.

The GZ series ensures a long service life thanks to its sturdy, chrome-plated piston rod and integrated high-sliding bushing. As with all ACE solutions, the springs are maintenance-free and supplied ready for installation. They are available from stock with body diameters ranging from 15 to 40 mm, tensile forces from 40 N to 5,000 N, and an integrated valve for subsequent force adjustment.
