This series was designed as an intelligent safety solution for applications requiring an emergency stop. The SDH range is engineered and manufactured to ensure high safety standards, offering maintenance-free models that are easy to install and available with strokes of up to 1,200 mm. The long working strokes result in low reaction forces, helping to better protect the structures and components involved.
The damping characteristics—specifically, the deceleration curves—are developed by ACE on a case-by-case basis, tailored to the customer’s specific requirements. The braking holes are calculated and manufactured specifically for each application, ensuring targeted and optimized performance. These custom components represent an effective and cost-efficient protection solution compared to traditional industrial decelerators, guaranteeing up to 1,000 emergency cycles at full load.
The use of ACE safety decelerators provides reliable protection for limit switches and end positions in crane systems, stacker cranes, high-stress applications, and special test benches.
