The heavy-duty emergency decelerators of the ACE series, from the SDP63 to the SDP160 models, are equipped with a special inert sealing gasket that maintains functionality even in the presence of dirt or damage, preventing leaks and malfunctions. The compressed gas accumulators enable forces of up to 100 kN to be achieved, significantly increasing safety, for example in overhead crane systems.
The sturdy piston rod guide bushing and shock absorber body are designed to withstand high-stress applications. As with all ACE safety decelerators, the damping characteristics of each unit are custom-engineered for the specific application.
