TUBUS bumpers are components made of a special copolyester elastomer, characterized by high energy-absorption capabilities. Available in various shapes, depending on the required damping profile, they are easy to install thanks to the integrated mounting screw. The material and its elasticity allow for the absorption of significant amounts of energy, making them ideal for emergency applications where complete absorption is not necessary, offering a cost-effective solution.
The shock-absorbing profiles in the TC series can also be used as safety components. Maintenance-free, ready-to-install, and also made of copolyester elastomer, they have been specifically developed for crane systems and comply with international OSHA and CMAA standards. In the special TC-S version, the unique dual-element design enables the stiffness rating required for crane applications to be achieved.
This product line offers a cost-effective, high-torque solution for emergency situations. The compact, lightweight design, available in diameters ranging from Ø 64 mm to Ø 176 mm, provides progressive torque absorption ranging from 450 Nm to 17,810 Nm. TC profiles effectively protect cranes, loading and lifting equipment, hydraulic units, and numerous other industrial applications.
