Turbine Vibrators
Fire-resistant vibrators with turbine-driven thrust for specialized applications
features
RTI S.r.l.’s turbine vibrators generate thrust via a turbine equipped with lead counterweights, driven by compressed air. The turbine is supported by shielded, pre-lubricated bearings, eliminating the need for air lubrication. This feature makes them particularly suitable for applications in environments requiring high cleanliness standards, such as the food and pharmaceutical industries.
The use of non-sparking materials, such as aluminum and brass, combined with an operating principle that involves no sliding parts, allows turbine vibrators to be used even in environments with specific fire safety requirements.

The turbine profile, together with the shape and position of the inlet ports, is designed to maximize performance. Furthermore, the reduced clearance between the turbine and the housing allows for optimal utilization of the compressed air thrust. The result is very high efficiency, with particularly low air consumption and noise levels. In the context of vibrations, efficiency refers to the ratio of performance under load to performance at no load, in terms of force and frequency.
For specific application requirements, special versions of the turbine vibrators are available upon request, including fully sealed models suitable for harsh environments or designed for operation at high temperatures.
