VMECA TECHNOLOGY
Vmeca’s multi-stage technology is based on ejector cartridges designed to generate a vacuum through multiple Venturi stages arranged in series. Unlike traditional single-stage systems, which use a single point of compressed air acceleration, multi-stage cartridges utilize multiple expansion and mixing sections. This allows for a progressive increase in vacuum level, resulting in a higher and more stable vacuum while consuming the same amount of air.
The operating principle is based on the Venturi effect: as compressed air accelerates through calibrated nozzles, it creates a low-pressure zone that draws air from the intake circuit. In multi-stage systems, the flow is optimized across multiple stages, improving overall efficiency and increasing the intake flow rate.
The result is a more compact system with a smaller footprint and lower energy consumption compared to conventional vacuum generators. This superior efficiency translates into faster gripping times, greater vacuum stability, and improved performance in handling, pick-and-place, and industrial automation applications.

COMPONENTS OF VMECA TECHNOLOGY

SUCTION CUPS
Vmeca suction cups offer a versatile and reliable solution for vacuum gripping applications in industrial settings. The wide range available meets a variety of operational needs, ensuring high wear resistance, stable gripping, and long-lasting performance even under demanding working conditions. The variety of shapes, diameters, and configurations allows for the safe lifting of components with smooth, irregular, or textured surfaces, ensuring adaptability to a wide range of production environments.
The suction cups are made from various engineering materials, including NBR, silicone, VITON, polyurethane, urethane, and EPDM, with specific versions designed for high temperatures, antistatic applications, and Mark Free solutions for sensitive surfaces. The modular design facilitates integration with miniature fittings and suction cup mounting systems, allowing for custom configurations and easy installation on robots and automated systems. This design flexibility makes Vmeca suction cups an effective technical choice for high-precision handling processes and continuous operation.
FITTINGS, SUCTION CUP HOLDERS, COMPENSATORS
Vmeca fittings, suction cup holders, and compensators are designed to complement vacuum gripping systems, ensuring maximum reliability and precision when integrated into automated systems. The fittings ensure secure connections and optimized flow, while the suction cup holders allow for the proper positioning and securing of gripping elements, adapting to various mechanical configurations and application layouts.
Compensators, available in various stroke lengths and configurations, compensate for misalignments and height differences between the gripping system and the workpiece, improving stability and reducing unwanted stresses. The wide range of accessories ensures a high degree of modularity, offering the flexibility needed to configure customized solutions and effectively address any type of industrial application.
