With a Brushless motor

The use of Brushless motors in RTI actuators enables high operating speeds, significant thrust forces, and the ability to maintain torque even over extended periods. The flexible combination of gear ratios, which can be integrated with planetary gearboxes, allows for the optimization of precision, dynamics, and reliability according to specific application requirements. Upon request, RTI can supply the actuator pre-configured for the installation of customer-specific motors, ensuring maximum design adaptability.

The range includes actuators with bore sizes from 32 to 100 mm, equipped with T7-grade recirculating ball screws with diameters ranging from 12 to 32 mm, and standard lead screws. The brushless motor, available in 55, 75, and 100 mm sizes, can be mounted in-line or with a drive shaft, with various reduction ratios achieved via pulleys or planetary gearboxes. The compact square-profile aluminum housing allows for the integration of reed and/or electronic sensors housed in the cylinder groove. Typical feedback is provided by a resolver, while dedicated solutions are available for applications requiring absolute encoders upon consultation with the technical department. All motors can be equipped with an emergency brake and are supplied with a digital drive featuring an integrated positioner, with the option to expand up to three optional cards for fieldbus, universal encoders for electric axes, and I/O expansions.
