The actuators are devices for linear or rotational movement. They are driven by compressed air, through control valves. The linear type is constituted by a cylinder, while the rotary type is constituted by a rotary actuator. All of these devices, for a total of 391,000 articles, are used to move, fasten or block the pieces to work in a pneumatic system. The main products of this range are: pneumatic cylinder, compact actuators, rod less cylinders, slides, rotating actuators and air grippers.

Directional check valves are used to adjust flow directions in pneumatic systems. Valves controlled by electrical impulse are called  solenoid valves, whilst those controlled by air pressure impulse are called pneumatic valves. This range of products includes 110.000 items: pneumatic valves, mechanical valves,  power valves and solenoid valves.

Equipment for air line, supply the auxiliary functions for a proper functioning of the directional control valves and actuators. The air filters, for example, remove dust and other substances of the air coming from a compressor; regulators secure the air pressure at the required level. Finally, the lubricators atomizing the lubricating oil, which is routed to the solenoid valves and the cylinders, for a smoother operation. The main products of this family are: air filters, air regulators, lubricators, modular FRL, flow regulators, one touch fitting and vacuum units.

This branch of SMC family, offers different types of products, ranging from devices for air treatment, devices for instrumentation, hydraulic devices, up to industrial filters . Below, details of this four devices:

DEVICES FOR AIR TREATMENT: Purifiers, exploit the cooling, dehumidifying and purifying effect to produce clean air for various industrial applications.

DEVICES FOR EQUIPMENT: These devices  for instrumentation are installed on control machinery for air supply in plants.

HYDRAULIC DEVICES: The various hydraulic devices are used to purify and cool the hydraulic oil of the hydraulic control systems and in hydraulic cylinders for actuating devices.

INDUSTRIAL FILTERS: Filters of industrial type, which exploit various filtering material  to remove the solid particles contained in the air, in the gas, oil and chemicals.
